RIVA Ingegneria carries out specialized studies of seismic vulnerability of all types of buildings: residential, scholastic or commercial, for industrial and productive use. Using static and dynamic analyses by means of FEM elements in a linear and non-linear behaviour, the studio studies the structural response of any building submitted to earthquakes forces.
The Italian Codes (N.T.C. 2018) and European Codes (Eurocodes) are applied to ensure safety and the containment of damage to structural and non-structural elements, which could cause environmental pollution in the event of an earthquake.
Once achieved the safety level of the building, seismic retrofitting interventions are planned to increase the building security. These works involve the design and a careful engineering study of properly-sized seismic-resistant steel elements, structural reinforcements made by carbon and steel fibers.
